Fadoua is conducting her PhD at the University of Bath and teaching in the undergraduate programme. Her area of expertise is Home Education and participatory research methodology. Her research interests are broad but are primarily around alternative education and child-led learning. Fadoua has almost 20 years of experience in the education sector, teaching in primary, secondary and higher education, and spending the last 13 years home-educating. This background has manifested a passion for finding educational opportunities beyond traditional methods.
Fadoua is convenor of the British Educational Research Association Alternative Education Special Interest Group (BERA Alt SIG). You will find Fadoua facilitating Lego workshops for children and adults in her spare time.
